As the domestic terrorist organization(s) BLM and Antifa (which many believe are one in the same) use the death of George Floyd as an excuse to riot and loot, numerous law enforcement officers have been attacked or killed during the riots. While there have been some lawful and peaceful protests, those seeking to take advantage of the unrest have resorted to looting, property damage, and assaulting and/or murdering men and women in uniform.
The following is a list of police officers who have been attacked or killed during the ongoing BLM/Antifa riots (as of June 10, 2020). Note that the July 7, 2016 ambush by sniper Micah Xavier Johnson, which killed five police officers and injured nine others and two civilians, is not on the list. Those "payback" killngs took place before the inception of BLM/Antifa; however, that violence did occur during the riots of the same nature.
