In Case You Missed It Week Ending 01-01-22

As we all know, most of the reality TV blogs are as catty as the people whom they are writing about, and  the current trend on the popular sites seems to be just blatantly cutting and pasting the same stories, aoften times, from each other.  I've been noticing that Reality Tea seems to be mentioning wooing Reality Burp a lot these days.  At first glance, it doesn't make any sense, because as everyone knows, R/B has 10 times the visitors of  R/T these days.  But if you take a closer look, it makes perfect sense.  R/B is allegedly owned by just one person, whereas R/T is run by TotallyHer Media which is owned by Evolve Media.  Joining forces would monopolize the reality TV blogs.

Although I’ve certainly “borrowed” from some of the lamestream AP and/or Reuters stories (when covering real news and politics), I haven’t gotten so lazy that I’m just re-posting their stories (yet). You’re probably wondering where I’m going with all this, and now I’m wondering that myself … hmmm. Oh yeah … the internet is a big place, and even our little HW community is becoming as crowded as the world of podcasts, so I thought I would put my lurking on the other sites to good use and summarize what all the blogs are talking about. I will occasionally mention the site, when it looks like credit is due. So if you’re tired of surfing all the same ‘ol blogs for different stories, I hope you will find this new section useful.

RHOSLC:

Mary Cosby of RHOSLC, took to SM and apologized for calling the Mexican people “thugs” two episodes ago.

On the Bravo Aftershow, she explained that Cameron (the dude that mortgaged his home for her church) left amicably. Of course “amicably” is subjective.

Mary also spoke about Heather and Whitney’s excommunication from their Mormon church, speculating that they were asked to leave because they “fell off” and “weren’t doing the right thing”. Translation: They were kicked out of their church for adultery, debauchery, drinking, and just all around bad behavior not becoming of a Mormon. No shocker there.

RHOBH: Filming for season 12 of RHOBH was halted this week when Erika, Garcelle, and Rinna all tested positive for Covid (and yes, like just about everyone else getting sick, they too took the jab.  However, filming resumes right before the new year.

All things are Hunky Dory between Kathy Hilton and Bravo as she will be once again be rejoining RHOBH as “friend of” for season 12 (with a rai$e). As I said all season long, I don’t get her at all.

Former RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, settled a class action lawsuit against them for allegedly tampering with time clock cards and not paying their employees. They reportedly agreed to a $250K pay out, but it's very possible that the lawyers told them to just shut up and pay it because it wasn't worth the trouble of fighting it in court. Still, many are enjoying seeing the Todds get their comeuppance.

Lisa Rinna’s two brats, Delilah Hamlin (the older mouthy one), posted a Tik Toc video requesting that her parents pay for her “trauma therapy” for obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety, which she says led to her OD’ing on Xanax. By the end of the week, it was reported that Lisa told Delilah that it’s time she learn some independence. In other words, no bueno.

Amelia Hamlin (the younger snotty one) got pissy because Mom Lisa posted a Tik Tok dance video of her two daughters and Delilah's hunky boyfriend dancing to Rod Stewart's Do You Think I'm Sexy? against her wishes. Um, why film something you aren't going to post?

Rumors were swirling that Sutton Stracke and Crystal Soon Yi were demoted, but it was later confirmed that they bother were able to hold onto their diamonds. Damn, we came this close.

RHOC: Speaking of white dudes with big D's, Meghan King, McDill, Edmonds, Biden-Owens, King's marriage to the President's nephew is over after just two months. Blogs speculated that they had a long distance marriage (CA/St. Louis), but King said they were in fact together EVERY DAY since they met. Gee, ya think that could have been the problem?

Kelly and Rick Leventhal got in on the action by predicting the marriage wouldn't last, and at the time, held a contest for their fans of who could come the closest (to predicting their breakup). Apparently one fan nailed it (to the day) and won a Rick & Kelly Unmasked hat.

In other Kelly Leventhal news, she tweeted about this season of RHOC's lousy ratings, suggesting that she was obviously not the reason for the show's declining ratings (as she was told). Andy Cohen replied, of course denying it, adding that the show is going strong. Ya sure Andy ... whatevs.

RHOC newbie, Noella Bergener, says she originally agreed to the lump sum (of the divorce) which she believed to be reasonable. She was quoted as saying, "With the plane ($8 mill) our vacation house ($14 mill) etc.. we acquired during our year of marriage the $2 mill I’m settling for, I know that that sounds high but can’t buy a 4bd house with that in our neighborhood, I thought was more than fair," she explained. Noella claims it's been four months since they orally agreed. "Since then he has refused to sign, threatened to sue the network, not seen our son, added illegal terms for me signing a retraction to Bravo, pushed forward with his fraudulent divorce in Puerto Rico, tortured me by withholding funds needed for our child.". When a SM follower posted that "you lose them the way you get them", Bergener agreed, admitting that she was indeed hooking up with her soon-to-be ex when he was still married.

Tamra Judge has teamed up with John Mellencamp's daughter on her rebooted podcast called Two T's in a Pod.  I guess if Tamra doesn't work out, Teddi can always find some other fired HW with a name that starts with "T".  My vote goes to Taylor Armstrong, or maybe Tiffany Moon.

Speaking of Tamra, she finally $ettled the defamation lawsuit that Jim Bellino filed against her (and Shannon Beador).  Shannon settled early on for a whopping $137K, and I'll bet Tamra now wishes she did too.

RHONY:

Luann accidentally skipped out on paying a $500 dinner bill at Washington D.C. restaurant. She left her CC on the table and then retrieved it thinking that they already ran her card. When she found out, she promptly paid, with a hefty tip. Hate it when that happens, don’t you?

Luann also spoke about the present “on hold” status of RHONY, telling Page Six that RHONY isn’t going anywhere and will be back stronger than ever. As I wrote throughout last season, I didn’t hate it like most people did. Leah and Ebony definitely need to go, but that is no reflection on our favorite three. I think Andy knows that there is no show without Ramona, Lu, and Sonja.

REALITY TV MISC: Lala Kent's baby daddy breakup tour doesn't seem to be ending any time soon. She recently shaded the sh out of her ex fiance, Randall’s Emmett, on her podcast, blabbing to the world that her engagement ring (originally thought to be worth $150K) is actually a refurbished brown diamond worth “something in the teens”. This was obviously meant to embarrass the hell out of him, but in my mind it backfired, because he saved a bundle. In short, he got the last laugh.

Lala also hinted that after a particularly brutal VPR Reunion, she was done with the show, but then a week later said that maybe the show is "good for her". She's particularly upset with the VPR cast who is now claiming that they knew Emmett was a cheating dirtbag (but didn't tell her). Who's she kidding, she still needs VPR.

Sheana Shay is suffering from "postpartum hair loss", that she alleges is caused by breast feeding. She "thanked" some mean SM followers for making her feel even worse, and told them to "think before commenting".

Andy Cohen is sick with Covid (again), and Jeff Lewis is infected as well. Both got very ill, and yes, they both have been "vaccinated".

Kloe Kardashian's baby daddy, Trystman Thompson, was caught cheating on her again; this time allegedly knocking up some bimbo.

After three failed attempts, Kim K. passed the CA state “baby bar”, which will apparently formally green lights her journey in becoming an actual attorney. Kim says they go much further into detail on their new show on Hulu, currently filming.

Kim is still dating Pete Davidson, whoever he is. All I know about him is he is a white dude with an alleged big D.

Also, Kardashian/Jenner business manager, Angie Kukowski 55, was brutally murdered (with a knife), and her boyfriend, Jason Barker 49, has been charged. I thought Momager Kris was their manager; I guess they have many.

REAL NEWS: In the “real news” world, right before the holiday, while stumbling through a commencement speech at South Carolina University, a very frail looking (illegitimate) President Biden referred to VP Harris as “President Harris” …. again. For those who haven’t been paying attention, Biden’s approval numbers are at a record low, and VP Harris’ poll numbers are the lowest for any VP in recorded history. November of 2022 can’t get here soon enough.

Twitter has issued a suspension to Dr. Robert Malone, a key architect of mRNA technology that has helped catapult Covid vaccines into early use who has also been a vocal critic of COVID-19 mandates and regulations. Twitter Nazi's confirmed that he has indeed been permanently suspended. The lesson here is, just like “election fraud”, those old Twitter algorithms will get you (and rid the blogosphere of you) for posting the words “useless masks and/or vaccines”.
