Lisa and Ken Todd (and their various partners) are the latest to join a growing list of restaurant/bar owners requiring proof of vaccine in order to enter their establishments. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Lisa Vanderpump 60, posted the policy change on PUMP and Tom Tom’s respective Instagram accounts.
The posts read, "Due to the increase in COVID cases and the Delta variant, as of August 4th, we will require all guests to show proof of vaccination, or a negative Covid test within 24 hours, before entry. Proof of vaccination can be in the form of a vaccine card, a digital version, scan or photo of vaccine card, and match your valid ID. Our priority has always been the protection of our staff and guests. Please help us keep our community safe, and let’s beat this together.".
Lisa's restaurant SUR, the location of the once popular Bravo show, Vanderpump Rules, Vanderpump Dogs, or Vanderpump Cocktail Garden in Las Vegas has yet to post anything (yet) regarding their vaccine policy. PUMP’s' statement was met with mixed reviews, with some people calling it a "Bad bad bad move" in the comments and others saying "Good job. Have to protect your employees and families.".
The CDC (Centers for Democrat Communism) recently updated their COVID-19 guidelines to encourage individuals who are vaccinated to still mask up when in areas with high COVID cases. New restaurant changes are being put into affect at Danny Meyer's restaurant group and New York City is launching a program that requires proof of vaccine for indoor dining.
West Hollywood is obviously predominently liberal, and I would have to guess that most of the patrons are as well, so I doubt it’s going to be a problem. But I’m not sure how this is going to fly in Vegas. Remember back in the day, when all we had to worry about was the insane cover charges and making sure we had our ID’s? Good times.
