New Details Surface In The Glanville Sexual Assault Case Against Caroline Manzo

Last week, reports surfaced that Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo had both left RHUGT season four early after Manzo accused Glanville of unwanted flirting and kissing.  But now, details are surfacing that the incident was far more serious.

Page Six is reporting that witnesses have come forward claiming that Glanville touched Manzo’s breasts and vaginal area (over her clothes) during at least one interaction.  The cast was partying as a group in a private home while filming the RHUGT in Morocco on Jan. 25, when Glanville, 50, stuck her tongue down Manzo’s throat.

Sources are claiming that soon after, Manzo, Glanville, former RHONY star Alex McCord, and a fourth member of the cast (who has yet to be identified), went to the bathroom together.  Glanville locked the bathroom door and allegedly “pinned Caroline against the wall.” “She put her hands on Caroline’s breast area and vaginal area,” claimed a source familiar with the incident, which has been corroborated by a number of other sources. Page Six was told that the production company, Shed Productions, had provided alcohol for the cast and that Glanville, whose behavior has raised concerns about problem drinking in the past, appeared to be extremely intoxicated  during the incident.

Alex McCord, 49, realized that Manzo was uncomfortable with the situation and unlocked the bathroom door so she could leave.   There is no video of the incident because it occurred in a bathroom, but cast members’ mics were live, so there’s audio of the interaction. Crew members found the tape “disturbing.”

This season of the show also stars Camille Grammer, Vicki Gunvalson, Eva Marcille, Phaedra Parks and Gretchen Rossi. Like most predators who have been caught, Brandi did apologize to Caroline (via text), and only after Caroline requested that they address the assaults on camera did the rest of the cast realize that Caroline was in distress about the incidents. Manzo was promptly moved to a hotel to “get her out of the situation”, and although there was only one day left of filming, Manzo then returned to the US on Jan. 27.  Glanville was asked to leave Morocco shortly thereafter.

Sources say attorneys interviewed cast and crew members and that an investigation into the matter has already been completed.  People Magazine is reporting that Brandi was fired from the show, and representatives for Shed and Peacock released a joint statement to Page Six saying, “The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously. In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action.”

The good news there is that Manzo and Glanville were spared Phaedra's gospel hour.
