Overserved: With Lisa Vanderpump

Overserved begins with Lisa and daughter Pandora slaving away in Lisa's fabulous new pink kitchen preparing a sumptuous meal for TV friends Lance Bass, his husband Michael, and Lifetme movie actress Vivica Fox, neither of whom Lisa or Lance has ever met.  On the surface, the guest list suspiciously reads like a pre-arranged deal made between D-list celebrity agents, but as the awkward dinner table small talk ensues, we are reminded that Vivica, Lisa, and Lance were all tortured contestants on Dancing With The Stars!  By dinner's end, Lisa's guests have been overserved, particularly Lance's husband Michael.  Lance tells us that Michael has a history of prankng Lance, so Lisa suggests there's no time like the present for Lance to get even.  It just so happens "naughty" Lisa has set up a really lame prank for Lance to play on Michael, but it all goes awry when Michael inexplicably cuts his nose when Lance jumps out at him and yells boo! 

I really wanted to like this one, but after VP Rules, Vanderpump Dogs, and her All Things  Vanderpump podcast, I've come to the conclusion that Lisa Vanderpump's sparkle is reliant upon the ratchet confines of The Real Housewive of Beverly Hills.  But then again, I guess there are worse ways to spend 22 minutes of our lives, because it was awfully nice seeing Vila Rosa again and no one can create an incredible table scape like Lisa Vanderpump.
