Always thirsty for a story line, Garcell Beauvaise can’t keep Erika Jayne’s name out of her mouth, and now she’s accusing her of being heartless and trashing her for refusing to help her soon-to-be ex husband, Tom Girardi’s, alleged victims.
On Monday’s episode of The Real, the D-list actress weighed in on Erika being dragged to court last week after being hit with legal papers, demanding she “turn over” a pair of earrings worth a reported $750K.
The demand was made as part of Tom Girardi’s bankruptcy. The trustee presiding over the Chapter 7, believes Girardi used his client’s money to purchase the jewelry. Girardi’s former law firm owes $100 million to various creditors. He is accused of screwing over orphans, widows, fire burn victims and countless others, and the trustee wants Erika to turn over the earrings so they can be sold off to pay back the debt. So far, Erika has refused to hand over the earrings, but has graciously agreed not to sell them.
“I would give up the diamonds quickly. There’s so much more she could do, even if she’s not guilty of knowing everything Tom was doing”. Garcelle feel that returning the earrings would be a way of letting the people suing Tom know that she has compassion for them. She went on, claiming that “When Erika shows up to ‘work’, she is diamond-ed out. She’s got a lot. Getting rid of those diamond earrings isn’t going to hurt her.”. This is rich coming from a woman who only last year, was accused of bilking Kyle Richards’ charity, citing “clerical error”. Erika has yet to respond to Garcelle’s comments, but I’m guessing it will be addressed, as RHOBH is currently filming.
On a related note, the case against Erika was dismissed over the weekend; however, the lawyer who filed that suit is vowing to file another one in California. Personally, I think these alleged victims (of Tom Girardi) have a better chance suing one of Girardi/Keese’s mail room boys.
