Tre Goes Apeshit On Radio Host
They don't call her Tre'Ape(shit) for nuffin'! Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Teresa Giudice appeared on Boston's Billy & Lisa In the Morning radio show to promote an event she’s co-hosting in Lynn, Mass, but the interview went south when host Billy Costa thought it would be a good idea to bring up Giudice's prison stint in 2015.
The shady radio host began, “Teresa, we know you spent some time in prison, but you came out of prison and wrote a book, a bestseller, about your time in prison, and did it focus a lot on the food in prison?”. After a slight hesitation, Teresa replied, "I really don't want to talk about that", adding, "I don’t know if you know this, but I’m a four-time New York Times bestselling author”. (snap).
To be fair, Billy attempted to move the conversation along and focus on her upcoming event, but as we all know, Teresa is like a dog with bone, and she wasn't about to let it go. “We’re going to have a good time, and it’s all about being positive, right? And not negative? You should learn some of that”, Teresa bluntly told the radio host. He sarcastically replied, "I will work on that.”.
But it was too late. “I have a podcast called ‘Namaste Bitches,’ and you should listen to it and learn how to be a little more namaste,” Teresa continued before being cut off by her PR rep.
After Teresa ended the interview, Billy and co-host, Justin Aguirre, tore into Teresa. “She was easily, hands down, the rudest person I’ve ever interviewed,” Billy said before calling Teresa an idiot, a nothing, and a monster. Justin chimed in and insisted they weren’t being negative since her book and time in jail are “part of her bio,” which her publicist gave to them in advance. Um sure Billy ... you baited her, she took the bait, and now you are enjoying tons of free publicity. Mission accomplished.
“I did time in prison, too, and you said, ‘Yeah, you did time in prison, but you got out, you wrote a successful book,’ which it was it was a huge book,” Justin said in defense of the questions they posed to the RHONJ star. He also claimed that the radio show “stayed away” from all the questions Teresa’s PR told them to steer clear of, including Teresa’s drama with her brother Joe Gorga and her recent Balenciaga scandal.
“I don’t even want a coffee with Teresa Giudice,” Billy quipped. Teresa has yet to publicly comment on the incident, but her attorney and publicist, James J. Leonard Jr., told Page Six, “I think Mr. Costa needs to work on being a bit more namaste like Teresa is ... he seemed like he was looking for a confrontation or to have his moment. I would recommend he listen to Teresa’s podcast, ‘Namaste Bitches,’ so he can work on himself and learn how to properly treat guests on his show”. Let the shameless neverending promotion begin.
