Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder celebrated with her former co-stars, as she threw a lavish birthday party for her daughter. The reality TV star, 33, pulled out all the stops for little Hartford's first birthday, including wrapping gifts in personalized paper and hanging special portraits on the wall.
As fans of the show know, Schroeder and costar Kristen Doute were both fired over "racist accusations" it was after it was discovered that they called the police on VPR alum, Faith Stowers, because she fit the description of a wanted black woman who was drugging and robbing men in West Hollywood nightclub circuit. However, some believed that Shroeder and Doute's motives were personal, and "payback" for Stowers' immoral behavior involving their friends, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
At the time of Shroeder and Doute's firings, Bravo announced that they were also firing costars Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni for their respective (but unrelated) racist comments allegedly made on their SM platforms, years before they joined Vanderpump Rules. Then a short time later, long time fan favorites, Jax Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, were also fired over trumped up accusations of homophobia. VPR creator, star, and executive producer, Lisa Vanderpump, has denied that she had anything to do with the firings, and has no control when it comes to casting, stating that "Bravo makes those decisions". As the future of the show remained uncertain, things only got worse when the plannedemic hit, affecting life as we all know it, and hitting both the entertainment and restaurant industries particularly hard. Filming for VPR was delayed for over a year, and when the show finally returned in Fall of 2021, ratings were (and remain) less than stellar. Although the ratings have increased, they are still down by about 40%, averaging just around 600K viewers each week.
