Ukrainian Civilians Are Being Used As Target Practice
On Tuesday, in the town of Makariv, just outside of Kyiv, a Russian tank absolutely obliterated a civilian vehicle by opening fire, killing an elderly couple inside who appeared to be trying to flee. Kyiv has been under siege for days , and people are attempting to get out any way they can, but many are still being targeted by Putin.
Tragically, that happened here, with the tank unleashing one blast, and then another just for good measure. There was no threat posed, and nothing to indicate Ukrainian soldiers were afoot, but the tank fired on the vehicle anyway. The elderly man and woman inside died.
The slaughter appears to have been captured by a nearby surveillance camera and then the aftermath, was filmed up close by unidentified cilvilians. In the heartbreaking video, the couple appears to be relatively intact, and leaning up against each other. It's graphic, but evidentiary of the sheer brutality that's being inflicted on the Ukrainian people.
There are multiple videos like this ... and reports that ordinary folks are being indiscriminately fired upon by Russian forces. Last week, videos surfaced of Russian soldiers raining mortar shells on Ukrainians trying to escape the city of Irpin designated designated evacuation points.
