In recent days, Kelly and Rick have been sharing video clips promoting their new podcast, Rick & Kelly UNMASKED… coming soon to Patreon, and wherever podcasts are shown.
In one clip, Rick asks his wife why she has no filter. "I think there's something lacking in my brain ... I don't know what it is. It's bad.", Kelly responds. Many of her fans flooded the comments expressing their excitement for the show. Many asked how they can subscribe and told Kelly to continue being the unfiltered conservative pundit she's become known to be.
Considering the chosen name for the new show, it's clear that Kelly plans to keep the controversy coming amid her firing from Bravo. Her unfiltered remarks on social media have been triggering the left for years, but it doesn't look like Kelly is afraid of a little backlash as long as it fuels her career.
After getting the pink slip (which isn't really a pink slip at all; they just simply don't send you a new contract), Kelly has been bringing in the money, getting paid to film cameos for fans, and posting tons of paid ads on Instagram.
Followering her social media posts (unfairly labeling her as a racist and a "Covid denier") and constant clashes with executive producer Andy Cohen, Kelly was on borrowed time, and it is widely believed that returning RHOC illumni, Heather Dubrow, would only return if Kelly was not on the show.
Although they were never able to break her, after her firing, Kelly admitted to rubbing producers the wrong way and offered an apology. I'm guessing with a little help from Rick, Kelly realized that burning bridges is seldom a wise career move.
