Real Housewives: Ultimate Girl’s Trip Season 2:  What We Know So Far

Real Housewives: Ultimate Girl’s Trip season one has just ended, and preseason buzz for season two is already beginning to heat up. 2. Seasons one was shot in Turks & Cacos, and featured all current housewives, with the exception of Cynthia Bailey, who didn’t know she was canned at the time of filming. But they changed it up for season two, and have assembled fired former housewives, Dorinda Medley, Jill Zarin, Taylor Armstrong, Brandi Glanville, Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, Phaedra Parks, and Eva Marcelle (try to imagine that liquor budget!).

Season two was filmed last September, and takes place in an entirely different location as well. Fans will see the return Dorinda Medley’s stately home in the Berkshires (Blue Stone Manor), where many memorable scenes took place throughout the former housewife's years on the Real Housewives of New York City.

Slurinda recently told Page Six, “It’s been a while, but it’s going to be a shit show. Listen, eight iconic women … these are real women, and each one is strong, and each one is sassy, and each one’s got something to say. There will be highs, there’s lows, there’s goods, there’s bads, we make it nice, we laughed, we cried, we did it all, so there’s not going to be a dull moment.”.  That's our Dorinda, always the elegant wordsmith.

Initially the women were only set to film for four days, but production quickly extended the trip to eight days. “They were like, ‘We’ve got some good content here,’” Dorinda joked, adding that despite the drama, the ladies all became closer during the trip. “The great thing I will say is that we all came out of it still talking to each other,” she said. Dorinda then elaborated on filming at her fabulous country home. “I feel like a lot of times with the show, you never really got to see all of Bluestone Manor,” she teased. “We got stuck in certain rooms, but now you’re going to see the property, you’re going to see the pool, the grounds, you’re going to see all the rooms!”.

Fans were disappointed that RHUGT was only available on NBC’s $treaming $ubscription $ervice, Peacock. As a result, viewership suffered, and the new franchise was basically ignored. EP Andy Cohen eventually addressed the situation to a caller on his radio show, explaining that NBC-owned Bravo has no control over how, when, and where the show is aired. Bravo has yet to release a specific premiere date for season 2, but it is expected to start $treaming on Peacock, in late Spring.

UPDATE: Bravo has announced that RHUGT season one, in its entirety, will begin airing on Bravo, starting on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 9pm eastern time/8pm central.  That's TONIGHT!  Anyone care to join me in a live viewing chat?
