Frank Catania Discusses RHONJ Season 13 Casting Changes
RHONJ's Frank Catania has confirmed rumors that Jackie Goldschneider has in fact been demoted to a “friend of” for Season 13 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Catania spilled the beans with The Morning Toast podcast, “I didn’t know for sure, butI went out to dinner the other night with Jackie and Evan, and yes, I heard. Yes, alright, she is a ’friend of.’”.
Morning Toast hosts, Claudia and Jackie Oshry, expressed that they didn’t agree with Jackie’s demotion at all, and Frank agreed, arguing that Jackie (who joined the series on season 8) was having her best season yet. “I thought she had a great season. Not only did she come out with her respective eating disorder, which I know wasn’t easy for her, but look at Jackie evolving over time,” he said, referring to Goldschneider’s anorexia recovery, which played out on the show.
Catania also revealed during the interview that Season 12 “friend of”, Traci Johnson and husband Teefy Tiki Barber, apparently got the axe. “Yeah I heard Traci’s gone, but nothing is definitive ever here.”, Catania teased. This should surprise no one, considering the woman and her teefy hubby barely uttered a word.
Catania added that the cast has just started filming the new season, and also confirmed, “We have some new girls coming on this year.". Fan account “rhonjobsessed” claims the season 13 cast will include newcomers Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda and Jennifer Fessler.
I wonder if "husbands" can be fined (for spilling the beans) too, because Andy Cohen is not going to be happy about this.
