Teresa Finally Apologizes to Jackie

This week’s episode starts immediately where last week’s ended. Everyone (including the husbands) are at the Jersey Shore to party celebrate Teresa and Joe’s late father’s life since the pandemic robbed them of giving Nonno a proper sendoff. Teresa and Jackie are still feuding because Teresa was spreading unsubstantiated rumors about Jackie’s husband cheating (when he went to the gym). The group’s accommodations have been divided between the Gorga’s fabulous waterfront home and Dolores’ 1980’s nightmare, just a few blocks away. Everyone has gathered at the Gorga’s for dinner, and all eyes are on Teresa. What is Teresa’s mood? Is Teresa beginning to cave? Will Teresa cause another scene with Jackie? How is Teresa going to react when Evan shows up on the next day? Everyone is walking on eggshells around Teresa, and pleading with her to ease up on the increasingly fragile Jackie, but Teresa isn’t budging.

At the dinner table, Teresa fires the first shot, and Jackie responds with a very calm, but effective “Did you learn that in prison?” which of course sends Teresa over the edge. Finally, everyone is growing a pair and basically telling Teresa that they have had enough and that she owes Jackie an apology.  Teresa storms off, and goes stomping upstairs where Joe tries to reason with her, only to be met with a “Go f*ck yourself!”. In true Jersey fashion, Teresa is very angry that Joe nor Melissa has her back, and as we all know (all together now) … “Fambly comes first!”.

A calmer Teresa comes back down to rejoin the party, but now Joe has a few things to get off his chest. The heated conversation shifts to how Joe Giudice’s crimes not only sent his only sibling to prison, but also put their mother in an early grave. A now hysterical Melissa joins in, gets in Teresa’s face, but stops just short of dumping the cheese platter on her head.  It turns into a free-for-all as Jackie beings telling Margaret’s husband Joe Benigno that he is “dead to her” for giving life to the rumor or Evan’s cheating at the guy’s gettogether a few day’s prior.  Margaret chimes in and starts screaming Jennifer for busting Joe in the first place. Because Jackie is now a defeated mess, everyone wonders if Teresa is finally now ready to end it with Jackie.

It’s a new beautiful day at the Jersey Shore and the Gorga’s are hosting a fun filled day of surf, sun, and a BBQ. Jennifer’s husband, Dr. Bill has arrived, and Even is due any time, but Dolores and her ex Frank Catania are afraid that Evan is not coming in peace. Apparently Teresa got a good night’s sleep (and probably a stern facetime talking to by dorter Gia) and FINALLY offers Jackie what appears to be a heartfelt apology. Jackie seemingly accepts the apology and tells Teresa that that’s all she ever wanted, but adds that Teresa is not qute off the hook yet, telling her that she still owes Evan an apology as well. Go Jackie! A little later (probably tipped off by Jackie), Evan walks in all smiles and even gives Teresa a hug. Crises diverted; however, we are not out of the woods just yet. Jennifer tells Margaret that she was surprised she went in so hard on her husband the night before, and doesn’t approve of a wife talking down to her husband.  Margaret responds by calling Jennifer a sloppy drunk, adding that Bill is Jennifer’s “meal ticket”, which is a bit of a stretch considering they have five children together. Never one to be one-upped, Jennifer then corrects Margaret, telling her that the true definition of “sloppy” is sleeping with the boss, a not so subtle reference to Marge’s revelation to the girls (and a few million viewers) a few weeks before.

The drama continues next week as Teresa's dorters all arrive for the ceremony honoring Nonno.  It appears that Teresa has a new man (could it be current flame Luis?) and we are teased with dramatic footage indicating that some of the marriages are being tested.
