The Blondes vs. The Brunettes

As everyone knows by now, Tamra Judge was put on pause fired from the Real Housewives of Orange County after 12 seasons on the show. Her announcement rocked the Bravosphere, as it came just one day after Vicki Gunvalson announced that she had been let go.  Even more shocking was the fact that Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson had apparently survived the ax.  Most fans were outraged, but moreover, worried about the future of the show.

However,  they weren't gone for long and then both showed up in season two of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.  Apparently they won their auditions, and now, after a two-season break, the dos amigas are back.

Tamra recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight and assured viewers that she wastes no time turning up the heat on RHOC season 17. "After two years of sitting on the bench, being on pause, getting fired, or whatever you want to call it, I came back with a lot of energy, but I had a lot of built-up resentment and anger, and it might show."

Tamra, Shannon Beador, and Heather Dubrow haven't filmed together since the epic season 11, when Shannon's sanity was being questioned as her marriage and friendships within the group were crumbling.  Based on Tamra's details about the upcoming season, it doesn't sound like it went too well.

Regarding her relationship with Heather, she shared that the two "don't stand together and have some things to fix." With all the recent changes to The Real Housewives franchise, Tamra is teasing that RHOC season 17 is the best in many, many years.

Love or hate her, Tamra's absence on RHOC was felt, and viewers let it be known that Andy's firing Tamra and Vicki (especially at the same time) was a big mistake.  Then the following season, Andy fired Kelly Dodd in order to bring back Heather Dubrow (who allegedly only agreed to return if Kelly was gone).   Rating continued to plummet.
