NeNe Leakes has dropped her discrimination lawsuit against Andy Cohen, Bravo, the network’s parent company NBC Universal, and the production company True Entertainment, at least for now. According to court documents obtained by Page Six, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 54, filed on Friday to dismiss the case “without prejudice,” meaning she has the ability to reopen it at a later time.
In the meantime, the parties involved in the case agreed to not seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees, per the documents. The case’s conclusion comes two months after it was reported in June that Leakes had been in negotiations with Bravo, Cohen, 54, and NBC Universal to $ettle their case outside of court. The defendants previously argued that there was a stipulation in one of their existing contract agreements that any disputes between them were “subject to arbitration” in New York. The recently dismissed lawsuit was filed in Georgia. Oops, bad break for Leakes.
