Hi Pot, Meet Kettle!

Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kandi Burruss, appeared on the It's Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast on Thursday, and devulged some rather dicey information about why she is no longer in contact with  her former RHOA costar, Nene Leakes.

“I don’t know what her problem is with me. I’ve seen her say all kinds of stuff, but this right here pissed me the fuck off … when she said somewhere calling me a ‘c–n’ or something ... that right  there, that’s when I was like, OK, you know what …'”.

The stunned host (really?) asked Burruss how Leakes could say something like that, to which Burruss speculated that Leakes may be jealous of her continued success? on Bravo with her new spinoff, Kandi & The Gang (which is currently at the bottom of the ratings heap). Kandi went on, “If we don’t communicate and those are the type of things that you put out in the atmosphere, I don’t need to waste my time talking to you anymore. That’s just how I feel about it,” Burruss said.

Burruss thinks Leakes’ negative comments toward her stem from Leakes’ departure from RHOA. “I didn’t do nothing to her, and that’s the crazy thing. I think she was having her own issues with the network, right? And that was very public or whatever. But I don’t know if because I have a better relationship with them she had negative things to say about me.”.

Shortly after announcing her departure being fired amidst salary negotiations, Leakes began making cryptic negative comments alluding to her alleged racial mistreatment by Bravo, eventually letting loose, and calling her boss and former friend, Andy Cohen, a full on racist.  Cohen did not engage, and only responded with "I'm disappointed, because I thought Nene and I were friends".  However, we all knew that Nene has undoubtedly sealed her own fate, permanently.

Leakes and Burruss have had a complicated frenemyship since Kandy joined RHOA in Season 2. "You know, normally don’t even address these things ... like real realistically, I think this is the only time publicly I’ve talked about that, but it’s annoying. It’s annoying as fuck, especially when you say things like using the coon term toward me, because if nothing else, like, realistically, I am the only one out of the cast that even still lives in a majority black community.”.  Yes Kandi, we all remember Kim Zolciak commenting how "scary" your neighborhood is, "scary" of course being a dog whistle, right up there with the roaches in Nene's home.

Leakes has yet to address Burruss’ accusation ... and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.  By the way,  I don't know about anyone else, but coon is one of those old school terms that I haven't heard since the 1970's.  Oh well, that's our Nene.
