Luann Is Like Uncool To Bethenny

Ticket holders for the new Broadway show, Bad Cinderella, were treated to two different shows when Real Housewives of New York City alums, Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps, unexpectedly ran into each other at the show's opening night.  NYC based publication, Page Six, reported that it went down like this.

De Lesseps, 57, arrived at the new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical with her former boyfriend Jacque at 6.30 p.m., just as the curtain was about to go up. Originally the show’s publicist, Rick Miramontez, had seated the former castmates right next to each other until another member of his team (apparently in the know) advised him that the seating arrangement was not a good idea.  Wait ... since when are Broadway show seats "assigned"? Anyway, they were then split up, with Bethenny's 12-year-old daughter, Bryn Hoppy, seated directly across the aisle from Luann.

Onlookers reported that Luann was obviously surprised (and not happy) to see her former castmate and then proceeded to trade seats with Jacque, thus giving him the aisle seat (and even more distance between herself and Bethenny). Bethenny repeatedly looked around Bryn in an apparent attempt to say hello, but neither Jacque or Luann acknowledged her.

Eye witnesses reported that when the lights came on during intermission,  Luann was seen grabbing Jacque's arm and storming up the aisle. “No words were spoken between them.  Luann looked visibly upset and she left in a huff,” sources told Page Six.

Frankel stayed for the second act and gave the show a rave on social media calling it “f–king fun and fabulous!” Miramontez has graciously offered de Lesseps another chance to see the show — presumably sitting nowhere near Frankel. “Whenever Ms. de Lesseps wishes to come back, she’ll be our guest, and we thank Bethenny for her words of praise for the show".  “I am not well versed in the ways of the ‘Housewives’ and should have known better than to seat them so close to each other if indeed it was a politically incorrect move ... next time I’ll do my homework" said an apologetic Miramontez.

Frankel’s rep declined to comment on the incident, but Luann's rep replied with a cryptic comment. “‘Bad Cinderella’ was not the only one feeling bad, that’s why I left with my date,” she said.
