RHOBH Producers Confirm That LVP Lied

According to excerpts from Dave Quinn’s Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It, Lisa Vanderpump was guilty of leaking information about Dorit Kemsley’s dog adoption debacle to Radar Online.

As Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans will recall, the report accused Dorit of abandoning a puppy she adopted from Vanderpump Dogs at a kill shelter. However, when asked about a potential leak, Lisa denied any such thing. And when Kyle Richards confronted her about the topic, she slammed her for suggesting she was a liar. Ultimately, after Ken Todd abruptly threw Kyle out of their Beverly Hills home, their  fake “TV” friendship came to an end. Now, on the day of the book’s release, RHOBH producer October 19, the day of the book’s release, executive producer Chris Cullen is confirming Lisa was indeed the guilty party.

Looking back at the events of season 9, the Evolution producer is corroborating the fact that leaked the story after she lost control of the series’ narrative. “When Lisa lost the narrative in the show, and she realized that it wasn’t going the way she wanted, that’s when she leaked the story to the press,” he explained.

After supposedly speaking to the press about Dorit and the situation involving her adopted dog, Lisa is accused of attempting to convince a producer of the show to call a meeting with the rest of the cast and inform them that they had to believe her claims of supposed innocence — which they refused.

Alex Baskin, who is also the president of Evolution Media, the production company behind RHOBH, explained that Lisa asked the producer to “sit the cast down and tell them they needed to believe her.”. Following the drama, Lisa quit filming, refused to attend the reunion, and ultimately announced her departure from the show. At the time (and ever since) she has said that being labeled a liar was simply too much for her to deal with and has continuously played the victim by accusing her former cast mates of targeting and harassing her.

Following her departure from the show, LVP has unsuccessfully attempted to remain in the limelight with several failed TV projects, including the much anticipated return of her Vanderpump Rules, but unfortunately, her once old reliable long running series has been met with dismal ratings as well.

Stories surfaced this week alleging that LVP would like to rejoin the series that made her famous, but so far, it appears that those stories are just blogosphere rumors.  Suffice to say, these allegations have pretty much put an end to any possibility of LVP ever returning to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
