Whatever Happened to Sister Kim?

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards is helping her recovering addict sister Kim financially.  Sources told The Sun that Kim is currently living in a "modest" 2-bedroom, 3-bath 1,600 sq. ft. apartment in Encino, CA that Kyle purchased for $520K back in 2015.  Recognizing Kim's downward spiral, Kyle decided to buy the pad one month after Kim had been arrested for the second time. The former RHOBH star’s new digs is a gated community, and amenities include a pool, jacuzzi, and full gym.  Best of all, the apartment is only minutes away from Kyle's home.

Kim is facing serious financial issues at the moment.  The State of CA has two active liens filed against her for unpaid tax bills totaling $90,783.68.

On the most recent episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle revealed she lost contact with her sister Kim.  Oldest (step) sister Kathy Hilton, revealed Kim had changed her phone number. Kim and Kyle have a long history of fighting over money.  In the past, Kim accused Kyle of stealing a family home from her, and Kim's "You stole my goddamn house!" remains one of the real housewives most iconic moments.

As fans know, Kim was one of the original cast members on the mega successful RHOBH, but has only appeared as a guest following her season 5 departure.  But despite her lack of recent work, Kim is set to release her memoir The Whole Truth: The Reality of It All later this year. Kim reportedly received a $300,000 advance for the tell-all; however, at one point, to her sisters' great relief, the memoir was scrapped altogether.  But it is reportedly now being published by Dey Street Books, a division of HarperCollins and scheduled to be released later this year.
