Kyle and Teddi KiKi on Teddi’s Podcast
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reigning queen, Kyle Richards, recently appeared on former? cast mate Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast, Teddi Tea Pod podcast (I guess "Tea Time with Teddi" was already taken). I’ve never been a huge fan of John Cougar Mellencamp’s daughter, so I was pleasantly surprised. On the hour long show, Teddi and Kyle dished on a wide variety of subjects, starting with Kyle’s never ending saga with Lisa Vanderpump.
Kyle provided the deets on her recent unplanned encounter with her former (tv) friend, Lisa Vanderpump; basically calling her a liar and proclaiming that she’s done “being the bigger person” kissing her ass. Speaking on the incident (which I have no intention of going over again), Teddi said that Lisa got exactly what SHE dished out to Kelly Dodd (whom Lisa accused of “dining and dashing”).
The two friends then reminisced about a time when Kyle, Teddi, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit were having lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Unbeknownst to them, there sat Lisa Vanderpump at a nearby table, and when she spotted them, picked up her Cobb salad and moved to a different table, presumably one that was out of sight. I can so see LVP doing that.
Kyle then spoke on Lisa’s (really dumb) decision to quit RHOBH over something so trivial as being called a liar (for selling stories to the tabloids). “She signed up to do the Housewives, and she’s gotten a lot out of it; her restaurants, her shows or whatever. I mean, honestly, in the big scheme of things, our big falling out was [me] saying that people think you [sold] this story and that’s why you leave? I mean, are you kidding me? If this would have happened [on The Real Housewives of New York City], do you think somebody would have never come back again? Like, who cares?”, Kyle said. She continued, “It’s not that big of a deal, and it wasn’t that big of a deal, and it didn’t have to come to that, and she should have just said, ‘Okay, believe what you want,’ and moved on. But she’s bitter that it worked out the way it did.”
Teddi then got Kyle to share (what she could) about the highly anticipated tentatively titled, Real Housewife All Stars, which Kyle just finished filming. Kyle joked that she kind of new she was in trouble when she found out that everyone else from the other HW franchises were "paired off", but she was there (in Turks & Caicos) alone. She said it was really weird shooting a show talking about their respective (HW) shows, often referred to as "breaking the 4th wall". Hmmm, a documentary with catty drama? She then added that it was really fun, however not necessaruly void of drama. Whew, a sigh of relie! With a little more coaxing from Teddi, Kyle added that Ramona was the most “interesting”.
Throughout the podcast, Teddi took several (actually interesting) questions from callers. When asked which former cast member Kyle would like to have back, Kyle naturally named Teddi (take that LVP!) and then accidentally revealed that Teddi would indeed appear on the show this season. Kyle then joked that “I think I'm going to get yelled for telling that”.
