Asshat Andy Denies RHOC's Current Poor Ratings

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star, Kelly Leventhal, recently tweeted about the current season's dismal ratings, and now her former boss, "Housewives" HBIC Andy Cohen, is responding.  PARA  On December 23, Leventhal tweeted, “Wait, wasn’t I the ratings problem?  Wasn’t there a boycott ?? We got over a million viewers 14 out of 16 weeks last season despite HUGE competition from election coverage on the news !!!” she added. “This year ? #RHOC16 under a million 3x in 4 weeks ! Hey @Andy How’s that reboot going ???”.

Apparently that hit a nerve with the "Real Housewives" HBIC and Executive Producer, Andy Cohen, because this morning (December 28), he clapped back. “Good morning! Reboot going great. Feels like a return to form for #RHOC.  Look at the delayed numbers, not live. That’s what’s measured.”

Dodd has been recapping the current season and commenting on her and husband's podcast, Rick and Kelly Unmasked, and well as her SM platforms since the current season of RHOC began.  The recent tweet was in reference to recent episode which brought in only 822,000 viewers.

Dodd stood by her tweet when Page Six reached out for comment, explaining that she intended to compare Season 15 overnight viewers to Season 16 overnight viewers. “Numbers don’t lie,” she toldthe outlet in a statement. “We did a straight-up comparison using real overnight data. His response is pure spin. If he’s gonna add later views to this year’s overnight ratings, he needs to share the added views to last year, too.”. She added, “If the reboot was truly a success, the next-day ratings would reflect it.

Kelly didn't stop there.  "Season 16’s numbers would be higher than Season 15’s. Instead they’re significantly lower and show many viewers have turned off the show. Based on the Instagram comments I’ve seen, it seems like a lot of Bravo fans can’t stand Heather Dubrow and won’t watch anymore.”.

As fans of the show know, Leventhal (formerly Dodd) frequently faced backlash from the fans  CC (cancel culture) mob over her so called controversial opinions about the COVID-19 plannedemic, challenging an already rocky friendship with Cohen over the last year.

Throughout season 15, Dodd was criticized for her criticizing CA's mask mandates and shutdowns, and then was seen wearing a "Drunk Wives Matter" cap.  Then things got really heated when Andy aggressively came for Dodd during the season 15 reunion.  She then called Cohen “anti-American” (presumably because he didn’t like former President Donald Trump); however, she later claimed that her comment was taken out of context and that she was arguing that people on social media who call Cohen “anti-American”, adding that she didn't think he was (anti-American) at all.  To know one's surprise, Dodd was then fired shortly thereafter
