Former Vanderpump Rules stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright welcomed their first child on April 12, at Cedaes-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
"Yesterday, April 12th at 1:51pm, our lives changed forever in the absolute best way possible. Our beautiful son Cruz Michael Cauchi was born and we have never been more in love.", Cartwright wrote on Instagram. Taylor shared the same photo, in which he gives Cartwright a kiss on the cheek while both parents hold little their new little bundle of joy.
Taylor, 41, and Cartwright, 32, who got married in June 2019 in front of 240 friends and family (and a about a million viewers) at a Kentucky castle in Versailles, Kentucky, not far from Brittany's home town (they have castles in Kentucky?).
In early December, Taylor and Cartwright announced in simultaneous Instagram posts that they would no longer appear on their Bravo reality series. Taylor wrote, "The last 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of my life, and although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules.". "We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors," he continued. Thank you to all the fans who have shared our journey with us and supported us through everything. We love you." "Stay tuned, We can't wait for to share what we have planned," Taylor concluded.
Last week on Instagram Live, Jax (inadvertently?) revealed that he and Brittany were indeed let go from Vanderpump Rules, and agreed with Bravo's decision. However, there is still no word on whether the long running series will ever return. He also address his $1.2 million dollar tax issues with the IRS, citing "shady bookkeepers", and proclaimed that it was "no big deal".
