In case you missed them, here are some of the stories that jumped off (to borrow a term from Diamond and Silk) this week.
People is reporting that Erika Jayne and her company, EJ Global, LLC were named in a $2.1 million complaint. The filed documents are claiming she Erika “aided and abetted” estranged husband Tom Girardi and his law firm in their alleged financial misdeeds. The suit comes just days after it was announced that EJ Global was suspended amid bankruptcy proceedings. Also, ROL is reporting that Tom G’s life insurance policies (totaling a whopping $85K) have been seized in an effort to pay off some of his $100M+ bankruptcy case.
The victims sure are hellbent on including Kunty in Girardi's alleged crimes.
Lisa Vanderpump was spotted out and about in a wheelchair following her leg surgery after being thrown from her horse, Prince Tardon, back in January. LVP injured her back and broke her leg in two places when her newly adopted white stallion got spooked by something, bucked, and threw her over his head with the reality star landing flat on her back. A full recovery is expected.
Filming has wrapped on an alleged explosive season RHOB. Lisa Rinna was smacked with a cease and desist letter from Kathy Hilton’s camp to stop running her mouth about her. Apparently Kathy still isn't grasping this reality TV thing.
Alliances are apparently shifting on RHOB, as Kyle and Rinna exchanged cryptic messages about being "stabbed in the back and betrayed", by cast members, presumably Erika and/or sister Kathy.
Speaking of Richards sisters, Kim Richards’ daughter Brooke’s home was raided by the feds or tax invasion, potential fraud and money laundering, allegedly committed by Brooke’s father-in-law, Andrew. Brooke is married to Thayer Wiederhorn, the son of Fatburger and Johnny Rockets franchise owner Andrew Wiederhorn. Brooke is not being accused of any wrong doing.
Speaking of Kim, she told Page Six that Andy recently called her to discuss a possible return to RHOBH next season. She said the call was brief (because Andy was busy putting down the little one), and didn’t elaborate, but did reveal that Cohen has wanted the three sisters on the show together since season 1. Yeah, I'm down with that!
On her Podcast this week, the always entertaining Kelly Leventhal, reiterated on a few stories that made the news a while back; the first one being that said that it was Tamra who told Kelly that Heather Dubrow made a deal with production to have Kelly fired (no big shock there). She also casually mentioned that SUR completely sucks (another Duh!~), and that she would join the next season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girl’s Trip in a hot second, but then obviously blew any chances of being asked by revealing that the RHUGT cast makes $200K for two weeks of “work”. Some people don’t know when to stfu.
Vicki Gunvalson appeared on Brandi G’s podcast and rambled on about her ex-fiance and gubernatorial fame whore, Steve Lodge, for the entire hour, barely allowing the host to get a word in. "Scorned" doesn’t even begin to describe how Vicki is STILL feeling after all this time; she obviously needs help. She said that Steve literally broke up with her and moved into his hew (32 yr. old) bimbo's place the same day. She also shared that she found out about it just as she was leaving for Massachusetts (Slurinda Medley's home) to film season 2 of Real Housewives: Ultiimate Girl's Trip and says that thank God Tamra was there to talk her off several cliffs.
Vicki also commented on current season of RHOC, referring to the horrific ratings and repeatedly calling it boring, terrible, and referring to the cast as “cheap labor”.
Brandi also had Tamra Judge on her podcast, who is recovering from Covid, which probably explained her lethargic demeanor. She too dished about the current (lousy) season of RHOC, admitting that she's not hating it, but questions whether anyone is really invested. She added that Emily and Gina bring nothing and still come off as being "new", even after 3 seasons. I couldn't agree more.
Tamra also revealed that Andy called her and offered her to appear on RHUGT just two weeks before filming began, and she didn't know whether to be happy or insulted (fearing that she was a "last choice pick").
Brandi and Tamra also discussed their ancient fight from a few years ago. Tamra tried to play dumb, but Brandi reminded her that Tamra called Kelly a combative drunk, "just like Brandi Glanville". They hinted that it would be dealt with on RHUGT.
Former Vanderpump Rules star and newly named Jenny Craig spokesperson, Brittany Cartwright, celebrated her 33rd birthday with the VPR gang (past and present).
Lala was on hand with baby Ocean Kent Emmett, who was celebrating her 1st birthday as well. Kent continues to trash former meal ticket and baby daddy, Randall Emmett. She has changed her "Rand" tattoo to "Brand New", is reporting that she's dating banging several dudes, and is buying a home in Salt Lake City, UT (yeah, we didn't see that coming).
Katie Maloney reposted Kim Kardashian’s post of her announcing that she and Kanye were dunzo, which of course has everyone speculating that she and Tom2 are following suit.
Rumors are swirling that Candiace Dillard has been or is getting fired, but she is saying that’s news to her.
Mia Thornton just found out she has cancer, but declined to mention which kind and at what stage she’s in. Sad news; I like her, so prayers for Mia
All the blogs picked up a story that only Ramona and Luann have been asked back for season 13. No comment from Bravo, as they don't comment on casting decisions, but it's hard to even fathom RNONY without Sonja.
Bethenny Frankel had another incident with fish which damn near killed her (no, not a shark attack … she’s alergic to fish), and the incident really traumatized her daughter Bryn.
In real news this week, Russia invaded Ukraine, which has the entire globe in an uproar. Dementia Alzheimer’s Joe is trying to act tough by imposing sanctions on Russian President, Vladimir Putin, but everyone knows that this would not have happened under the leadership of Donald Trump. What the world most fears is the ripple effect that the Russian invasion has already started. China and Iran sense Biden’s weakness and smell blood in the water, and legitimate panic is brewing that both countries may follow suit by invading Taiwan and Iraq, respectively. Both countries are already showing signs of aggression and flexing their muscles in those regions. Of course, the fake lamesteam media is tripping over themselves trying to cover for Biden.
Biden has followed through with his pledge by nominating Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson as the first black Supreme Court Justice. Good for her I guess (obviously bad for us), but must suck knowing that you are being lauded solely based on the color of your skin.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) moved Friday to loosen federal mask-wearing guidance for counties deemed to be at "low" or "medium" risk, including schools. Most Americans will no longer be advised to wear masks in indoor public settings and the agency announced a change to the metric it uses in recommending the face coverings. They apparently finally acknowledged the fact that oughly 70% of Americans live in low or medium-risk areas. COVID-19 cases have fallen greatly since January's surge of the omicron variant, which still makes up 99.9% of new cases, according to the CDC.
Gee, maybe there was something to that thing called herd umminity after all, because like who hasn't contracted Covid at this point (two and even three times)! But rest assure; they WILL come up with concoct another (even "deadlier" variant) between now and the Fall medterms, because like how else are the dirty Dems going to rig an election other than with fraudulent mail-in ballots?
