Catching Up With The Housewives
Perfectly timed with tonight's episode on RHOBH, Lisa Rinna is flapping her lips about Kathy Hilton's alleged big breakdown in Aspen, CO that was filmed almost a year ago. She and Erika Jayne claim that Kathy completely lost her shit AT the private Carabou Club, ON the way home in the sprinter (or "splinter" van if you're an idiot like Michael Rappaport), and IN Kyle's bedroom. She allegedly threatened to take down Kyle, the show, Bravo, and NBC. The problem with this story is that as I mentioned, not only was this filmed almost a year ago, but Kathy has since appeared on WWHL with Covid Cohen ... so how serious could it have been? Sidenote: Kyle recently "liked" a tweet that suggested Lisa was "calculating". Kettle meet pot.
It's never a good sign when mainstream actors begin weighing in on reality TV drama; see exhibits A and B, Jerry O'Connell and Michael Rattawhore. Speaking of ham actors, this week we're adding Jennifer Lawrence and Jon Hamm into the mix. You know JLaw, the chick from Mockingjay and Red Sparrow (apparently she has a thing for birds), and then we have Jon Hamm, the mad man who is arguably most famous for his alleged impressive ween. Apparently neither are fans of Erika Jayne.
JLaw recently told People mag that RHOBH is boring her to tears this season, and that EJ is evil and needs a publicist ASAP. No arguments here. Then we have my hometown bud, John Hamm weighing in with Howard Stern. Probably true. Then we have Jon Hamm “Should Erika Jayne give back the earrings?” host Howard Stern asked. "Yes she should ... the circular argument that she does ... it's not responsible. You just want to shake her and go 'Honey, they were never yours. Give them back!". Methinks Mr. Hamm should stick to walking the city streets "commando".
In other Kunty news, a CA judge dismissed another lawsuit brought against her and estranged husband Tom Girardi by attorneys Philip R. Sheldon and Robert P. Finn, as well as their law firms, over attorney fees in a shared toxic chemical legal case. Although she did hand over her $1.3M dollar earrings (at least for now), it looks like things are looking up for the pretty mess.
There was another shooting at one of RHOA's Kandi Burruss' restaurants. This time at Blaze Steaks and Seafood, which Kandi owns with her huzbin' beard, Todd Tucker. Apparently the two employeees got into it over God know's what, and her cousin was shot in the arm. You will recall that back in 2020 (on Valentine's Day), three people were shot at Kandi's other restaurant, The Old Lady Gang. They all survived as well.
In RHOC news, Shannon's ex, David Beador, filed for divorce from his wife, Leslie after lest than two years of wedded bliss. But here's were it gets weird. Just a few days later, Leslie posted on Instagram that David changed his mind. However, Page Six then spoke to the court officer who said that there has been no petition for dismissal. So apparently either she's lying, or David is just leading her on. But regardless, fortunately for the former mistress, she was able to have a baby during the course of the marriage, so she's presumably $et for life.
In RHONJ news, Dancing with the Stars contestant, Teresa Giudice, says that she is indeed done with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa, and "insiders" are claiming that she gave the show the old "It's either her or me" ultimatum. But the thing is, filming for season 13 has barely even wrapped, and no one is even thinking about season 14 yet. So they're all stuck with each other at least for now. Personally, I'm not taking any of this seriously, because fighting is what Italians do. BTW, speaking of DWTS, it's kind of annoying that they moved the show over to streaming only, because although I never could stand it, I would liked to have seen Teresa quick stepping with her partner. I think she's either going to be surprisingly good, or really terrible. Oh well, I guess there's always You Tube.
In other HW news, I'm really stoked for RHOSLC season three which premiers next week on Wed, Sept. 29. Then we have RHOP returning on Sun, Oct. 9. Here's a sneak peak of RHOSLC.
