First Look of ‘First Lady’
Overrated actress and The First Lady executive producer, Viola Davis, had a nice chat with Michelle Obama, and also read her memoir, before signing on to the Showtme series, which explores the former former first lady's eight years at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
"I feel very protective of Michelle," says Davis, who also studied the first lady's 2020 Netflix doc to perfect her masculine gestures. "It's our job as actors not to judge whoever we are portraying, but I ended up thinking she's just dope.".
No word yet on the special sized prosthetic used to accurately display Michael's Michelle's bulge.
