Heather McDonald, a celebrity comedian, has suffered a skull fracture after she collapsed on stage at Tempe Improv Saturday night. McDonald's show began at 7 p.m. and she was on stage for approximately three minutes until she suddenly collapsed, suffering a skull fracture as a result of the fall.
Eyewitnesses said that the former Chelsea Lately star was headlining the sold-out show, when she delivered her second joke ... "I'm vaxxed, double vaxxed, boosted ... and flu shot and shingle shot and haven't gotten COVID and Jesus loves me most", and then just collapsed and hit her head on the floor.
Everyone thought at first it was all part of the act, but it was not. She was conscious, but clearly, all was not well. An EMT and a nurse happened to be in the audience ... they rushed up on stage to provide first aid. Sources close to McDonald posted on her Facebook page Sunday with an update on her condition. She was taken to a local hospital where tests have revealed no underlying medical issues that may have caused her collapse. McDonald has also been tested for COVID-19 and remains negative.
