Can RHOSLC Survive Without Jen Shah?

Twitter went wild Sunday evening for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, specifically for Jen Shah, and it appears that viewers now hope she is innocent, at least for the sake of the show.

When the sh* hit the fan last year, it seemed like everyone was calling for her head.  Even her own network and boss, Andy Cohen, seemed to be keeping a very safe distance from Jen Shah. But to be fair, Bravo's court ordered involvement in the lawsuit(s) against Erika Jayne undoubtedly made them very nervous.  When sole cast member Heather Gay publicly voiced her support for Shah, all hell broke loose, but what a difference a year makes.  Suddenly fans and Andy himself are freely voicing their support for Shah.

Against her lawyer's advice, Shah continued with the show, seizing the opportunity to portray herself in a different (more likable) light.  It looks like her strategy paid off, because this past season has done wonders for the troubled reality star.

This isn't to say that viewers are turning a blind eye to Shah's alleged scams; as her trial date looms, but the world is waiting with bated breath to see if Jen truly is found guilty of wire fraud and a telemarketing scheme which targeted the elderly. Luckily for Jen, unforeseen events with other cast members have definitely taken some of the attention off her, such as the allegations of Mary Cosby running a "cult" as well as her blatant racist behavior, and the unexpected  firing of Jennie Nguyen for her refusal to bow at altar of the BLM terrorists.

Throughout the season, aside from a few slips, Shah remained composed, wisely taking on the roll as observer and often serving up hilarious commentary.

It remains to be seen if the jurors buy what Shah has been selling all season long, but it seems that she has already been exonerated, at least in the court of public opinion.  It's probably just my nature to root for the underdog, but I'm now really hoping that there is some kind of explanation for all this, and Jen is found not guilty.
