Betting It All On This Blonde Might Not Pay Off

On August 25, Erika Jayne will fulfill her longstanding dream of seeing her name up in lights on the Las Vegas strip as she launches her Bet It All On Blonde show at Mandalay Bay's House of Blues.

“It just feels right. It is right. It’s over the top, just like Erika Jayne,” said Jayne herself (I hate it when people refer to themselves in the third person).  But there's a problem ... tickets aren't selling.  So now the show has been reduced to just two performances a week which will run through Dec 2 (totaling just eleven performances).

It's particularly troubling that the House of Blues is one of Las Vegas' smallest venues to begin with, with a seating capacity of just 1200-1800 people.   to beging with (anywhere from 1200-1800 seats)   “Fantasy, love, escape, glitz, glamour and fun, that’s what we’re gonna bring to you and I’m so fucking excited!”

The good news is BravoCons 2023 is being held in Las Vegas this year, so at least ticket sales for that weekend should be brisk.  The seating chart below is for the opening night next week, and as you can see, it's a sea of green (available seats). I have a feeling Mandalay Bay is going to be "comping" a lot free seats during the next few days, and probably throwing in a free dinner as well.
