Filming For Season 12 To Begin Immediately
Erika Jayne is not leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills any time soon. Was there ever any doubt? On part one of the reunion, Andy Cohen wasted no time going in, and asked EJ for her response to some fans demanding that she be fired. She brazenly says “Why should I be fired? Why are you presuming that I did something? Why aren’t we letting the legal process play out?”. She does have a point, but more than that, how presumptuous of some fans who actually think they have a say so in casting. Also, as we all know, Bravo is known to keep its most fraudulent and controversial reality stars around (no need to name names). But above all, controversy makes for good television.
There are new reports that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 will commence filming early, but according to my memory, the current season began during Autumn of 2020, and here we are in Autumn of 2021 … am I missing something here? Not that I’m complaining, because the sooner they shoot, the sooner we get another season! First and foremost, Bravo does not want to miss out on any of the Girardi’s legal drama, but also there is a lot going on with the ladies, like Kyle’s Halloween Kills premier and her Real Housewives of the North Pole movie, Sutton's breakup and her (and Kathy's) new homes, Garcelle and Kunty's search for big D's, and Crystal's dumpling making. Also, the holidays always provide an interesting backdrop for the Real Housewife series, especially during a plannedemic that the left is hellbent on keeping going (at least through the midterms). Sorry, but you know I can't help myself.
As far as casting rumors go, it appears unlikely that there will be a casting shakeup. Insiders, Pimp Daddy Cohen, and the ladies themselves have pretty much confirmed that they have all been asked back. Also, the ratings have been through the roof, so as the old saying goes, don’t try to fix it if it ain’t broke. But one thing is for sure; considering the entire season focused on Erika Jayne, she is in for one hell of a raise (currently est. at $600K per season).
Part two of the season 11 reunion continues next week. Personally, I'm dying to know her answer to Andy's "Have you been faithful to Tom?". Also, let's talk casting ... who do we want back, who do we want gone?
