Bravo Capitalizes On RHOSLC Star’s Arrest

 

Bravo just released some video footage of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, Jen Shah, moments before her arrest earlier this year. The unscrupulous network is obviously hoping to strike ratings gold (again) by exploiting the accused felon’s arrest earlier this year on multiple counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.  In it's Freshman season, RHOSLC struggled in the ratings, averaging less than 400K viewers each week.  Suffice to say, had it not been for the notoriety surrounding Shah's arrest, RHOSLC probably would not have returned. 

 

As fans of the Real Housewives series know, Bravo/NBC/Universal shamelessly capitalized on Joe and Teresa Giudice’s arrests, convictions, and prison times, and are also dedicating the entire current season of RHOBH to Erika Girardi's estranged husband's alleged crimes.
