Bethenny Frankel:  "This is Why My Face is F**ed Up"

After noticing comments about how “different” she appeared on her Aspen, Colo., trip, Bethenny Frankel took to her Instagram and explained that she has been suffering from chronic severe dehydration.  Frankel, 52, explained, “I’m bloated, swollen and I’ve gained 4 lbs in 3 days because my body is desperately hanging on to any water it can. “Altitude and a dry climate (in my favorite place in the world to do my favorite sport) present additional challenges,” she continued in her caption.

The Skinnygirl mogulette elaborated in a video, saying she wakes up every two hours “dying of thirst” since her body won’t hold onto the liters of Pedialyte and water and kombucha and coconut water in her system.   I have the same problem when I take a CBD gummy for sleep (we used to call it "cotten mouth"). “That’s why I look f–ked up,” she concluded. “Because I’m a little f–ked up.” The former Bravolebrity prides herself on being open about her looks on social media, writing in November 2022 that she avoids “filters and facetune.”

Frankel explained, “In today’s world of … people being outright dishonest about how they look, it’s so important to me that I remain transparent about my physical appearance.” With that in mind, she spoke candidly at the time about her plans to possibly go under the knife.  “I want to look like myself. I just want a little help along the way,” she said at the time, clarifying that she would rather be “judged” for considering plastic surgery than for lying about it.

Frankel often criticizes the Kardashian-Jenner family and more celebs for their “reckless” use of Photoshop on social media. What do you think? Post a comment. “When you’re already billionaires, you have access to so much more,” she told TMZ in September 2022. “The more we see these images, the more we think they’re real. It creates eating disorders, insecurity [and] depression.” Since the “playing field is not level,” Frankel claimed that women are left feeling “terrible about themselves.”  Hmm, and creating a brand called "Skinnygirl" is helping?
