Former RHONY Co-stars Are Still Jealous Over Bethenny's Successes

Bethenny Frankel is responding to criticism from some so called fans and former co-stars who are calling her new podcast “pathetic”.   As everyone knows, Bethenny famously left The Real Housewives of New York City twice, and many believe that the show never recovered when she left for the second time after season 11.  So when she announced her new podcast ReWives, some people (including her former co-stars simply don't get it.

“For those of you who don’t understand why I did it, because I get that I walked away, I didn’t want to be a part of it, it wasn’t what I thought i should be doing at my life, and I wasn’t proud of it,” Frankel, 52, said Sunday via Instagram Story.  “This is my perspective, my story, my show, my experience,” she continued, “versus a situation where we didn’t control the editing, and we didn’t control the process, and we didn’t control who we surrounded ourselves with, and the trips we went on, we weren’t in charge”.

The Skinnygirl mogul explained that her podcast is totally different from her edited time on the show.  Bethenny has explained how she has control in her storytelling with her podcast, compared to her time on RHONY.  “It’s absolutely part of my history, and as I said before, I don’t have amnesia, and you gotta dance with the one who brung you, so this is my story, my podcast, my perspective,” she concluded.

The new podcast has been met with mixed reviews, especially from her former (bitter) co-stars.  Carole Radziwill, 59, who was once Frankel’s closest friend on the show until they had a major falling out, sarcastically tweeted about how “original” the idea was earlier this month.  Ratzi tweeted, “But she did build her brand by trashing & mocking women specifically the HWs & Betheny always returns to what she does best”.

"Countess" Luann de Lesseps called Bethenny's podcast "a pretty desperate scenario", and tweeted, “I mean right out the gate she trash talks the other HW podcasts. Lol. Good luck to her. Somethings will never change. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂🙈”. Luann de Lesseps also dubbed it a “pretty desperate scenario”.
