Did Lala Pull an "Erika" By Getting Out Before It Hits The Fan?

As reports continue to swirl that Lala Kent and Randall Emmett have hit a rough patch, the movie producer is facing serious legal issues.

In court docs obtained by Radar Online, the Emmett and his film company, Randall Emmett/George Furla Productions, have been slapped with a lawsuit by the company’s landlord, 8200 Cardinal Associates.

The lawsuit alleges that Emmett and his company ditched the $17K a month third floor office space back in March (without notice), and have not paid any rent since.

The suit states the original lease wasn’t set to expire until June 30, 2021, so they are seeking an additional $55,000 for April, May and June’s rent.  Because Emmett was already in the arrears for several months, the landlord claims they are owed $281,000 in back rent.  Factoring in attorney fees and damages, the suit has now ballooned to a whopping $336,000.

In addition, the landlord made shocking claims in the court docs, alleging Emmett and his production company are a mere “shell” and they use the income for their own personal gain. The landlord claims the defendants used their company as an instrument to “perpetrate a fraud upon Plaintiff.”

It gets worse.  In the midst of his legal troubles, last week video evidence surfaced of Emmett allegedly cavorting in Nashville with TWO random ho's.  Kent has since wiped all traces of him from her Instagram account, thus fueling reports that she has officially dumped him. "Sources are reporting that the duo have indeed called it quits nearly three years after getting engaged. Emmett popped the question in 2018, with a scheduled wedding date for April 2020, before getting postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Ocean, in March. Emmett also shares daughters London, 11, and Rylee, 7, with ex-wife Ambyr Childers.  What's that old expression?  Oh yes, "You lose'em the way you got'em".
